SIGOURNEY — Brady Duwa and JD Stout combined to outscore the home team Friday in a high school boys basketball game.
The South Iowa Cedar League game saw Keota take a 15-8 lead after the first quarter over the Savages, then led 39-20 at halftime and 64-34 after the third quarter in the 83-43 triumph.
Duwa totaled 22 points and Stout finished with 28 for a 50 points combined. Duwa couldn’t miss from the field, save for one 3-point attempt, finishing 9-of-10. He was 3-of-4 at the foul line. Stout was 11-for-20, including 3-of-7 from beyond the arc. He was 3-for-3 on free throws.
Stout took down six rebounds and handed out four assists. Duwa had four rebounds and four assists. Carson Sprouse went 3-of-4 on threes for his nine points. He tallied three rebounds and three assists. Luke Hammen produced four rebounds, four assists and three points. Tyler Waterhouse added eight points.
Keota is 15-3 overall and 14-2 SICL.
