WASHINGTON — The Washington Public Library is collecting family recipes for a cookbook.
Throughout March, residents are asked to send the library a copy of their favorite recipe, either scanned from the original or typed up. Included with the recipe should be a story that goes along with the recipe.
“You can write a paragraph or a page,” according to a news release.
These recipes and stories will be shared with the community and be part of a printed booklet.
Those who participate will receive a copy.
The recipes and stories can be emailed to leann.kunz@washington.lib.ia.us or mailed to the library at 115 W. Washington St.
