MT. PLEASANT — The fourth annual Thank You Is Not Enough ride and benefit kicked off in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday.

The all-day event saw bikers travel through Southeastern Iowa in support of local veterans and veteran organizations. The ride began at Loyal Order of Moose in Mt. Pleasant before traveling to Ainsworth and Brighton in Washington County and continuing through Fairfield and Keosauqua in Van Buren County.

The event had 94 people attend. Founder and Organizer Dixie Darnell said the event went really well considering the impact of COVID-19. The event raised $10,800 this year.

A small parade took place east through Mt. Pleasant as the bikers headed out of town. Bikers threw candy at a few kids standing by to watch.
