Aaron Kness, President and CEO of Iowa State Bank in Fairfield, announced that Christy Grove has joined the Iowa State Bank team as the new Vice President of Lending.
Aaron commented, “We are excited and fortunate to add Christy to our talented lending team. She shares both our community-mindedness and customer-centered approach. Two things which define the culture of our organization.”
Christy comes to the bank with 20-plus years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in real estate, agriculture, and commercial lending. She is a graduate of Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Christy lives in rural Blakesburg with her husband, Adam, and their four daughters, Elyse, Carleigh, Reagan, and Meredyth. She spends a lot of her free time cheering on her girls on the softball field, volleyball, or basketball court. She also enjoys spending time with her family at the lake, or having a bonfire in the backyard.
Jared Lyle, Iowa State Bank’s Senior Vice President, added, “Christy is an outstanding banker with a passion for serving the customer. We are thrilled that she has joined our team.”
