Greg Fritz of Fairfield enjoyed the noon meal of Aug. 25 at the home of his mother, Winifred Fritz of Brighton. They spent the afternoon playing games.

On Aug. 25, Winifred Fritz received a phone call from a friend in Wayland.

Pat Remington of Brighton met her sister Kathy and friend Wayne of Chariton in Fairfield on Aug. 20. They dined at Riverside III.

Mary and Joel Boatright of Fairfield provided the evening meal of Aug. 23 at the home of her mother, Winifred Fritz. They were assisted by Mary’s children Bridget Hollingsworth of Fairfield, and J.D. and Becky Hollingsworth with Noah of Packwood. Aurora and Ames Phillips, grandchildren of Rosemary Pacha of Brighton, spent Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 25-26, with her on the farm before they started school the following week in Johnston, Iowa.

Mary and Joel Boatright visited her mother Winifred Fritz on Aug. 30. They were joined for the evening meal by Mary’s daughter, Bridget Hollingsworth.

Connie Fritz visited Winifred Fritz, a cousin by marriage, both of Brighton, on Sept. 1.

Winifred received phone calls that evening from her brother, Herb Moeller of Wever, and her daughter, Lucy Dietzman of Keosauqua.

Mary Boatright spent Sept. 4 with her mother Winifred Fritz. Megan Berry of Odessa, Missouri, called her grandma, Winifred Fritz, on Sept. 4. Megan had gone sky diving for the first time.

Joel and Mary Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth enjoyed tacos at Winifred’s home on Sept. 6.

Winifred received a phone call from her daughter, Lucy Dietzman on Sept. 7.

Jason Roberts of Brighton met three friends from college in Ottumwa the weekend of Sept. 5. Two arrived from Des Moines and one lives in Ottumwa. They spent the weekend reminiscing and catching up on each others’ lives.

Winifred Fritz called sister Janet Kreber in Sioux City on Sept. 8 to send birthday wishes.
