Joe and Marlene Stufflebeam, of Brighton, spent Christmas Day at the home of their son Cameron and Shannon with Jeneva and Isabel in Ankeny. Also present were Cameron’s brother, Chancey and Sarah with Ava and Nia of Marion, and their sister, Bethany and Jeremy Horning with Chase of Oxford.

Ten point pitch is being played on Tuesday nights at the Brighton Community Building starting at 6 p.m., $1 pays for all 10 games. They usually get done between 9 and 9:30 p.m. Finger food are provided by players.

Herb Moeller of Weaver visited his sister, Winifred Fritz, of Brighton, on Jan. 3. After lunch they were joined by Winifred’s son Greg with his grandsons Kellen and Madden Copeland, all of Fairfield. The boys had packed their lunch. They enjoyed playing and sightseeing on the farm.

Lucy Dietzman, of Keosauqua, visited her mother, Winifred, on Jan. 5. They were joined by Winifred’s granddaughter Bridget Mollingsworth, of Fairfield. Winifred and Bridget were joined later that afternoon by Bridget’s parents, Mary and Joel Boatright, of Fairfield.

Jeremy and Bethany Horning with Chase of Oxford held a Johnston Family Christmas celebration at their home on Dec. 28. Their daughter Cooper was home from Kansas City, Missouri.

Also present were her parents Joe and Marlene (Johnston) Stufflebeam, of Brighton, with their sons Cameron and Shannon, of Ankeny, and Chancey with Ava and Nia, of Marion, Marlene’s sisters and families.

David and Janice (Johnston) Schlicher with their son Lance and their daughter Mandy and Shawn Moore with Carter and Eli, all of Fairfield, Mike and Tracey (Johnston) Hellweg with Jarrett, of Fairfield, Jeremy with Jordan, of Cambridge, and Josh and Kendra Hellweg with Grace, Konrad and Hope.

Rosemary Pacha, of Brighton, and family friend Jean Frazer, spent Christmas Eve and Christmas with Jennifer Philips and family in Johnston. Aurora and Ames Phillips then spent the week between Christmas and New Years on the farm with Grandma Pacha. Rosemary’s son Jeff and Michelle Pacha, of Wichita, Kansas, visited over the Christmas break.

Pat Remington, of Brighton, spent Jan. 4, with friends in Missouri.
