The real history of the Confederacy

For years, the left’s most important mission is to distort American history, starting with prohibiting the Confederate flag on public property.

Removing statues, changing names of certain products, sports teams, streets, buildings, military bases, replacing the National Anthem and Star Spangled Banner are all targets. Even talk of changing the namesake of some Iowa counties, Polk, Washington and Johnson which is named for a Kentucky slave owner.

On July 22, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to remove 11 statues from the capitol complex and specific depictions of other figures with racist history. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had already moved or removed artwork honoring confederates. Congressman Steny Hoyer (D) said it’s long overdue to ensure we honor our nation’s highest ideals, not the worst in history.

Finally someone had the good sense to get to the heart of the nonsense. Congressman Louie Gohmert (R) and four co-sponsors introduced a resolution to ban the Democrat Party if they don’t change their name.

He laid bare the history of Confederate Democrats breaking with the Union, trying to save slavery then suppressing African descendants with certain laws and segregation for years after the Civil War ended. Don’t be surprised if individuals with confederate like names ex: Davis, Jefferson, Lee, the list is endless, are forced to change their names.

One hundred fifty years after the fact it’s not a democrat apology, just a desperate attempt to hide their hateful past.
